The combination of diesel engines and batteries provides flexible operation modes depending on different working conditions.
Series parallel connection:
•Hybrid form between diesel engine / generator set / battery;
•Support PTO / PTI / PTH multiple operating modes;
•The battery is used under special conditions (silent operation, emission control area).
Series connection:
•The generator set and the battery are connected in parallel through the DC bus;
•The gensets can be used in emergency or to extend sailing range;
•The battery further improves the energy efficiency of the generator set, and the vibration noise is significantly reduced.
