In the early days of autumn, CSSC SETH has officially entered the peak delivery period for our shipboard power, propulsion, and energy storage systems. The sister ship of the new-generation Yangtze River luxury cruise ship the VICTORIA SABRINA, named the VICTORIA ISABELLA, had been officially delivered. The VICTORIA ISABELLA features a raked bow, twin-stern hull form, aft-engine configuration, and stern exhaust vessel type. It is primarily designed to host domestic and international guests for Yangtze River sightseeing tours and can also be used for governmental and commercial receptions. The cruise ship will operate year-round on the main trunk of the Yangtze River (between Chongqing and Yichang). It serves as a mobile five-star floating hotel along the Chongqing-Yichang route and represents a new generation of hybrid-powered luxury cruise ships.

The VICTORIA ISABELLA is funded by Chongqing Dongjiang Industrial Co., Ltd., built by Chongqing Chuandong Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd., and equipped with SETH's DC-grid hybrid power"Three Power"system (battery, motor and electronic control system), representing another luxury cruise ship project. The vessel has an overall length of 149.99 meters, a beam of 21.8 meters, a depth of 4.6 meters, and a design draft of 2.9 meters. It adopts twin-engine, twin-screw, twin-rudder shaft propulsion system driven by electric power. Additionally, it is equipped with a 300kW solar photovoltaic module and two lithium battery packs (with a total capacity of 1,566 kWh). These components are integrated through SETH's centralized DC bus frequency converter and electrical control equipment, which connect to the DC grid to drive two 1,680kW main propulsion motors and one 450kW side thruster motor. SETH's hybrid power system not only ensures robust propulsion performance but also aligns with the ship owner's requirements for energy conservation and environmental protection.

Early in 2020, the VICTORIA SABRINA, the same series with the VICTORIA ISABELLA, has set an industry benchmark as the first domestic inland river luxury cruise ship equipped with DC-grid electric propulsion technology. With its gross tonnage and passenger capacity breaking records for Yangtze River luxury cruise ships at that time, it quickly emerged as the new-generation luxury cruise ship on the Yangtze River. Additionally, the VICTORIA SABRINA was recognized as a "National High-Tech Ship Research Program" energy-saving and environmentally friendly demonstration vessel by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, earning its status as an industry model. Notably, the VICTORIA ISABELLA continues to adopt the mature DC-grid electric propulsion system of the VICTORIA SABRINA while being optimized and constructed according to the highest industry standards. This has led to significant upgrades in energy efficiency, environmental performance, and navigation stability, further solidifying the technological leadership of the VICTORIA series cruise ships.
