In 2021, Before Chinese New Year, CSSC Ship Electric Technology (Wuxi) Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "SETH") which was still named as Wuxi Silent Electric System (SES) Technology Co., Ltd first proposed the target of “the road of hundred ships”. In October of the same year, SETH has successfully achieved first hundred ships target by a significant growth in shaft market. In 2022, SETH set off a wave of shipping in the field of wind power offshore engineering vessels, shaft projects, and electrical merchant ships, and successfully completed the second 100 ships before the Spring Festival. In the autumn of 2023, SETH successfully reach the goal of the third hundred ships. Meanwhile under the premise of the good development of domestic ship electrification market, wildly recognized in the international market and the effective of CII and EEXI, SETH announced the new target of the one-thousand ships plan. 

Today, under the dual efforts of the domestic market and the overseas market, SETH has completed half of the one-thousand ships plan, and the ship references have exceeded 500 ship sets, and the oversea references have exceeded 80 ship sets, which lead the market of marine new energy electric propulsion system at home and abroad. Marine new energy propulsion system market

Shen Kuo, the first ship in China received the type approval of DC-Link system of CCS. In 2018, Shen Kuo research vessel was successfully delivered, and the DC-Link technology of SETH broke into the vision of ship practitioners for the first time, and set off a wave of widespread attention.
The River Cruise Vessel Victoria Sabrina, the largest luxury cruise in China and the first inner-river cruise equipped with a DC-Link System, was successfully delivered in 2020, marking the official launch of this advanced technology in the luxury cruise market.
Engineering vessels market

Huadian Wenqiang 600T MTIV wind power offshore engineering vessel, received advanced product and service from SETH. In 2019, upon the successful delivery of this project, the DC-Link System of SETH made a significant entry into the market of offshore engineering vessel market. 

Hybrid cruise ship market

River cruise vessels "Shicheng City Light" and "Shuangyong" are the first domestic hybrid series inland river cruise ships. These vessels have demonstrated the seamless switching and optimal compatibility of SETH electric propulsion technology across diverse power sources.
Fully electrical battery-powered ship market

Cruise vessel Dianchi Harmony is the first fully electrical battery-powered ship project and the initial plateau lake project of SETH. Its successful delivery in 2021 signifies SETH's official enter into the fully electrical battery-powered ship market.
International Market

SETH officially entered the overseas marine market by winning the order of Sweden Terntank 15000 DWT chemical tankers in a fierce competition among imported brands. We successfully launched the project and became the first enterprise to export domestic hybrid marine new energy propulsion system. 
Fully electrical battery-powered passenger vessel

The "Yangtze Three Gorges No.1" is the world's largest fully electric - battery - powered passenger vessel by battery capacity, hitting 7500 kWh, equivalent to 126 Tesla Model 3s. It's the first intelligent ship to achieve zero pollution, zero gas emissions, minimal noise, and low vibration. In 2022, it made its successful maiden voyage, helping SETH gain a key position in the inner - river electric - battery - powered passenger vessel field.
Official ship market

Haixun 20m search and rescue boat is the first electrical battery-powered search and rescue boat in Jiangyin. After launching this project, SETH officially stepped into the official ship market. 
Shaft application market

The Zhonggu 4600 TEU container vessels, a series of 18 ships, represented SETH's first contract for high-power S-shaft solutions. This landmark deal triggered a wave of applications in the transport ship market, highlighting SETH's technological edge in this domain.

The Nantong Xiangyu 79900DWT bulk carriers are the most advanced and largest-sized bulk carriers in the domestic trade market. By leveraging its innovative shaft technology, SETH shattered industry barriers. This remarkable achievement led to its strong recognition in the shaft market, solidifying its position as a key player in the field.
Tugboat market

Qinggangtuo 1, a 5,200HP tugboat, is the pioneering intelligent tugboat in China equipped with a hybrid propulsion system. In 2023, SETH signed a contract for a Qingdao Port 7,000HP renewable energy tugboat, marking the company's official entry into the renewable energy tugboat market.
Inner-river electrical container ship market

In 2022, the development of inner-river container electrification witnessed a significant breakthrough. SETH has been deeply committed to the advancement of electrical container projects in Jiangsu, Anhui, and Fujian provinces. As a result, the market for commercial electrical container ships has undergone a substantial expansion. 
The "Jiang yuan bai he" 120TEU container ship, the first commercially-used 120TEU electric container ship, has been outfitted with an innovative battery-rental model.
The Ganghang Chuantu 01 110TEU container ship features SETH's S-renewable propulsion system and containerized battery, both built upon SETH's DC-Link technology.  
“Wuyi 2” 58m is the first extended-range electrical bulk carrier in Fujian Province. 
After the successful delivery of electric container ships in three provinces, SETH has garnered significant attention in the industry. International event 

“Jianglu, Jiangcui, Jiangwei, Jiangxue” are the 4 of 7 ships SETH manufacture for Hangzhou Asian Game. The advanced electrical propulsion system was highly appraised during this international event. 
Ro-Ro vessel application market

GAC 7000 PCTC Ro-Ro vessels, a series of eight state-of-the-art ships, are equipped with 1200kw in-line PM shaft generators, manufactured by SETH. These advanced propulsion system represent SETH's flagship products, exemplifying the company's commitment to eco-friendly development. SETH's innovative S-shaft technology has not only been successfully applied to container ships, bulk carriers, and chemical carriers but has also extended its reach to Ro-Ro vessels, expanding its market presence across various ship types.
Marine official ship market

The 40m Ningbo Dagang Pilotage Pilot Ship marked a significant milestone as the first hybrid new-energy pilot vessel in China, equipped with SETH's S-Renewable hybrid propulsion system. The successful launch of this project has enabled SETH to break into the marine official ship market. SETH has actively participated in the entire electrification process, from inner-river official ships to marine official ships, further expanding its influence and technological footprint in the official ship electrification domain.
PSV market

SETH has provided the propulsion system for a Singaporean ship-owner's SPEC SPP40 PSVs, a series consisting of 4 ships. These vessels, classed by BV, are in operation in Angola. With this project, SETH's battery-change technology has officially made its entry into the PSV market, marking a significant step in SETH's expansion within the global maritime technology sector. 
Shaft retrofit 

“Yuedian 53” bull carriers under Guangdong Yuedian Shipping Co., Ltd. carried out a retrofit to further improve the energy efficiency and maintain its environmental friendly status. SETH officially launched “MEC Main Engine Power Compensation System” to open the new technology solutions of shaft gear-box, in-line PM shaft generator and half-half PM shaft generator. 
Marine electrical cruise ship market

The "Yujian 77" holds a remarkable position as the first fully electric-battery-powered marine cruise ship in China. It is also a key project in the development of electric ships in Fujian Province. With the successful implementation of the "Yujian 77" project, SETH has officially delved into both the inner - river and marine electric cruise ship markets.
